| This paper described a new approach to improving the quality of image provided by the ultrasound scanner. In the paper, a brief account of several latest technologies for improving of image quality is given. These technologies are 1/2 space beam scanning, multiple point focusing and. variable recieving aperture control. On the basis of the above technologies, a new design proposal, for a super high-density probe which transmits the ultrasound energy using 56 elements and receiving its echoes using 55 elements is put forward. |
