| A formula for calculating sound field generated by a concave spherical focused radiator through coupling liquid entering into soft tissues is derived. Effects of different couplants, different widths of coupling layers and temperature on acoustic focusing are studied carefully, and some significant results for ultrasound hyperthermia treatments are reported. |
