Microcellular foam polymer is the material that will be used in many areas.Because the skin can influence its performance deeply,the measurement,process control and theoretical calculation of the skin thickness have become the main problems in the processing of microcellular foam polymer.An effective new measurement method about the skin thickness of microcellular foam polymer —— scanning acoustic microscope (SAM)method is introduced.The skin thickness of microcellular foam polystyrene and polycarbonate was measured too. |
