| Progress in the work conducted by the technical committee 87: Ultrasonics of International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC/TC87) and its mirror committee in China is summarized in this paper. An overview on the development of IEC/TC87 is introduced here. The catalogues of International Standards and their differences are described, and the compilation of International Standards for ultrasonics and underwater acoustics formulated by IEC is introduced. The information of the current valid International Standards of IEC/TC87 is also provided. The main work and its progress made by the domestic mirror committee are introduced in detail. |
